Kristin Landen Davis Kristin Landen Davis, the American Emmy Award-nominated actress as well as an American Golden Globe-nominated actress , is most well-known for her character in the role of Charlotte York Goldenblatt, on HBO's Sex and the City. Her parents divorced when she was when she was a young girl and she became the sole child. When her mother Dorothy was a analyst for data analysis, got married to Keith Davis, University of South Carolina psychologist Keith Davis, a psychologist at the University of South Carolina, took her in as an adoptive child. In her first marriage, she was blessed with three step-sisters. Her family relocated to Columbia, South Carolina in her early years of childhood. Her father who adopted her was the prefect of Columbia and also taught psychology at the University of South Carolina. Davis was an enthusiastic actor from when she was 10 years old when she performed in the community theater production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Davis was born in South Carolina and graduated from A.C. Flora High School, in 1983. After graduation from A.C. Flora High School in 1983, Davis relocated to New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. Davis was the host of the VH1 program 200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons. She played an urban mother who also moonlights as a private investigator in the pilot titled Soccer Moms. It was her first appearance on television. Belk was also Miss Spider in Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids, and its sequel Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends. In June 2008, Belk was released shortly after the film's release to the general public.
