Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25, 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast, and a two-time Olympian. She was the American women's Olympic gymnastics team captain for both the 2012 and 2016 "Fierce Five" U.S. teams. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she received a gold medal at the team event with teammates Gabby Douglas and Gabby Douglas the sole Americans with back-to-back team gold medals. Raisman also won silver medals for individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman received silver medals for the all-around individual, and also for the floor exercise. She also is two-time national champion in floor exercises (2012 and 2015) as well as the 2012 champion of the national championship in balance beam.   Morgan was born July 2nd, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. They raised her and her sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan was a multi-sport athlete throughout her childhood but did not play soccer until she was 14. After high school, Morgan joined Cypress Elite's team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and finished third in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to work at Diamond Bar High School, where she worked on her soccer abilities. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) picked Morgan as an All-American Athlete. She was also a part of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) regional and state divisions.
