Amy Carlson

 Amy Carlson was born in Glen Ellyn in Illinois and spent her childhood in Chicago. Amy lived in Glen Ellyn in Illinois until she entered junior college. The family also lived in the Middle East, where her parents, Bob (and Barb) taught at the American School. Amy is the sister Betsy, Lori, and brother Joe. Amy has travelled all over Europe with her family and independently. Since her parents worked as teachers and teachers, they could spend the entire summer traveling and camping all across the United States. They have camped in every state, with the exception of Alaska. Amy also went to Rwanda following the 1994 war to assist in relief efforts. Amy was a gifted actor in school plays and won writing contests. In high school she was a dazzling athlete who placed in the first ever 3200-meter relay in the Illinois girls track. After college, she suffered an injury, she returned to the theater , playing a variety of roles on stage beginning with Lanford Wilson's "Fifth of July" and also directing Wallace Shawn's "Aunt Dan and Lemon". Amy graduated from Knox College in Galesburg (Illinois) as a cum laude graduate with an A.A. in East Asian history and a concentration in Theater. After graduation, she relocated to Chicago and pursued a degree in Improv at The Improv Olympic. Additionally, she studied acting at The Actor's Center. Shortly after graduation, she was offered a permanent job on the no longer-running soap drama Another World (1964). In the category of "Outstanding support actress on a Daytime Drama Series", she has been nominated to Daytime Emmy Awards. Her most memorable roles included those of strong women like Alex Taylor (1999), Maggie Pistone (2000), Katie Owen (2003), and Linda Reagan (2003). Carlson resides in New York City with husband Syd Butler, the bassist of Les Savy Fav, where she is also employed in the independent music business as a part-owner of the independent label "Frenchkiss Records". Amy continues to write as well as look for unique and diverse roles in the film industry.

   Canadian actress Carrie-Anne Moss was born August 21, 1967. She became famous for her role in the role of Trinity in The Matrix (1999-present) after making a television appearance early.
