Schneider also covered lifestyle, entertainment and various other issues as Special Assignment Reporter for on a daily basis while in Boston. She was the weather forecaster for weekends forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami before joining WB56. She was a meteorologist as well as reporter for News 12 Long Island, an all-day, 24-hour cable news network. WXII TV is the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem which is located in North Carolina. When she was in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
